Built for the boys who actually show up.
Spitball Football Edition is a Commissioner-judged card game built around football culture, real opinions, and the kind of arguments that make a night worth remembering.
165 cards across three types. 8 dry-erase slates. One rotating Commissioner. No right answers — only better ones.
It's not trivia. It's not Cards Against Humanity. It's the game you play when you want everyone at the table actually engaged.
I couldn't find it. So I built it.
My mom has always had a gift. It didn't matter if it was a family vacation, a board game night, or me having friends over — she always found a way to make it the best night it could be.
My whole life has revolved around sports. Playing golf and baseball as a kid, high school golf and varsity basketball. I've also been playing fantasy football with the same group since 5th grade — constant arguments and debates dating back to our lunch table.
In high school, sports betting entered the picture. It felt like a rush with something I already loved. It wasn't. It pulled me somewhere I didn't expect. The nights with my boys started feeling tense instead of enjoyable.
After a break from it in college, I felt the difference immediately. Same games — but I was there laughing, arguing, and actually present.
I looked for something that could bring that feeling to a pre-game, a halftime, or just a regular hangout. Something that turned an ordinary night into one worth remembering. I couldn't find it. So I built it.
Spitball isn't about replacing the group chats or the banter. It's about bringing the argument back to the basics — and making sure you can look back on those nights with your boys and say "yeah, that was fun as hell."
— Spencer Flynn, Founder of Spitball
"Treat every night like it's your last. Do whatever you can to make it enjoyable for the people around you."
— Spencer's Mom (and the reason Spitball exists)
Spitball is how Spencer tries to do that for your friend group. One game. One Commissioner. A night worth remembering.
